Gas Solenoid Valves 215 Series

The Asco solenoid valve series 215 is particularly suitable for has applications and is available in sizes ranging from 3/8" - 3" NB. The high quality aluminium body design is capable of working at low pressure requirements for controlling the flow of gases and air where compatible seal materials are used. The valves resilient seat offers a tight shutoff and does not require a minimum operating pressure to achieve this. All units are designed to for maximum flow capabilities and are covered by the PED 2014/68/EU and are suitable for group 1 and 2 fluids.

Solenoid valves from the 215 series are very easy to install and can be mounted in any position whether this be vertical or horizontal without effecting the performance (Unless stated in the specifications table). Pipe thread identifiers are E (Rp ISO 7/1).

Additional non standard options can be included such as an FKM (Fluoroelastomer) seal and CR diaphragms (Chloroprene) seals and discs compared to the standard NBR. It is important to use any appropriate option letter suffix within the part number ordering code for identification. Our technical team can help with any request you may have in doing so.

A waterproof IP67 enclosure can be provided according to CEE-10 for duties that require this level of protection aswell as explosion proof enclosures for ATEX rated zones 1/21-2/22, categories 2-3 to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU. Electrical enclosures to NEMA standards are also available on factory lead times where required and UL/CSA approvals. A Visual LED indicator plug can be supplied for immediate in field line position indication and peak voltage with cable lengths of up to 2M.
