Steam Solenoid Valves 222 Series

The Asco Numatics series 222 has been specifically designed for steam use incorporating a hung diaphragm, compact forged brass body with stainless steel core tube, plug nut and springs. A compact design is key to minimising any heat radiation loss that could potentially effect external seals and the solenoid operator. The unit is available in sizes ranging from 3/8" - 1 1/2" and provides reliable flow control within high pressure system applications. Each 222 series valve is constructed packless with a single piece deep draw core tube ensuring safe operation between electrical and wetted moving components.

Optional extras include items such as embedded screw terminal coils to IP67, CEE-10 and also NEMA/UL CSA compliance. Visual indicator LED plugs can be provided for local on site feedback should it be needed and also peak voltage suppression. Maximum cable lengths are 2M.

The 22 series of Asco solenoid valves can be installed in any orientation without performance loss or operation with pipe connection identifiers clearly marked E = Rp (ISO 7/1). Installation, operations and maintenance manuals are included in each solenoid valve box and mounting brackets are available for sizes 3/8", 1/2" & 3/4".
