SIL Rating for Sanitary Hygienic Ball Valves BS4825 Tri Clamp Weld OD

Actuation Valve are pleased to announce that we are now able to provide up to SIL 3 rating for all Sanitary Hygienic Ball Valves. This includes BS4825 Tri Clamp & Weld OD.

The tests results concluded that the Valves are suitable for use in a safety instrumented system up to SIL 2 in low demand mode. Under consideration of the minimum hardware fault tolerance HFT=1 the devices may be used in a redundant structure up to SIL 3. The instructions of the associated Installation, Operation & Safety Manual have to be considered.

Following this news and coupled with our Pneumatic Actuators from Italian Manufacturer Air Torque we are able to offer a SIL Rated Pneumatic Valve Actuation Package for all Sanitary Hygienic Ball Valves, both Spring Return & Double Acting.
