Gas Solenoid Valves 040 Series

The Asco 040 gas solenoid valves series are available in sizes ranging from 1/8" - 3/4" with an aluminium body designed for low pressure and maximum flow. The 040 gas series are predominantly used as pilot control valves for industrial boilers, low pressure air or gas control and gas fired ovens and furnaces. The direct lift solenoid valves do not require a minimum operating pressure and have a resilient NBR seal for soft seating operation providing a bubble tight seal. A stainless steel core, spring, core tube and plug nut and copper shading coil complete the bill of materials. 

There are additional options for the Asco 040 series gas solenoid valves that include an IP76 CEE-10 rated waterproof enclosure, complete with embedded screw terminal coil. Explosion proof housings are also available for ares designated a high risk or with potentially explosive environments. Zones include 1/21-2/22, categories 2-3 to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU. American NEMA standard coils are also available on factory lead time. A plug with visual LED indication can be provided for quick in field position feedback. 

Mounting brackets from factory standard to bespoke designs can be manufactured direct from Asco or in house for short delivery requirements for panel and wall mount requirements. Common materials include stainless steel, mild steel and carbon steel.

The 040 series Asco solenoid valve for gas is easily installed and can be mounted in any position with affecting the operation of the valve with two mounting holes within the body itself. Pipe connections are identifiable as B (NPT) or other screwed connections on request. Installation and maintenance manuals are accompanied with each unit as standard.
