Gas Solenoid Valves 262 Series

The Asco gas solenoid valve series 262 is used for gas piloting applications and gas burner control on industrial atmospheric and draught burners. The 262 valve can also be used in kilns and furnaces in process industries with sizes ranging from 1/8" - 1/4" diameter. The valve incorporates a brass body design with copper shading coil and stainless steel core tube, plug nut and springs. The direct lift with resilient seating materials provides a reliable tight shutoff and can withstand a 150mbar back pressure.

All 262 series Asco solenoid valves have been tested to EN 161 and satisfy the European gas appliance directive (2009/142/EC) Certificate of conformity BSI: No. CE 645926.

The valve comes with two mounting holes within the body and can be installed in any orientation without losing performance or affecting the operation. Installation and operations manuals are provided free of charge with all valves and can also be downloaded in PDF format upon request. Screwed connections "E" applicable for 1/4" valve sizes and have standard thread according to ISO 228/1 and ISO 7/1. “G” screwed connections applicable for 1/8, have standard thread according to ISO 228/1.
