Our standard corrosive resistant Bronze Disc Butterfly Valves are designed for corrosive liquids and gases. They are installed in corrosive plant or processes including seawater, water with chemicals, hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid. Our standard corrosive resistant Butterfly Valves are available in a wide range of sizes to suit all industry standards with 2? to 12? Butterfly Valves all available from stock in ANSI or DIN Flanged Connections. Lug-style valves have threaded inserts at both sides of the body that allow them to be installed with only bolts and no nuts. The valve is placed between two flanges, one on each side. This setup permits either piece of piping disconnected without affecting the complete process.

The quarter turn action offers quick opening or closing with ease of operation and the valve has good flow control characteristics. In the wide open position, the only obstruction to flow is that due to the thickness of the disk, so the pressure drop across the valve is small.
