8200 Step Seat — Reduced Leakage Severe Service Butterfly Valve
Severn's step seat variant, providing reduced leakage performance compared to the swing clear 8100 for applications where some degree of shut-off improvement is required without the full sealing duty of an offset seated design. Suited to high and low temperature gas service and limited severe service applications where tighter leakage than a standard swing clear is needed but full bubble-tight shut-off is not the design requirement.
