The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-CRG2-Ex1.D is a 1-channel isolated barrier designed for frequency signal conversion and conditioning in hazardous area applications. It safely transfers pulse and frequency signals from Ex zones to safe areas while maintaining full galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply circuits.
This module is ideal for use with NAMUR sensors, mechanical contacts, and pulse-generating field devices, converting frequency signals into standard analogue outputs for integration into PLC and DCS systems. Powered via a 24 V DC supply through the Pepperl+Fuchs Power Rail system, the KFD2-CRG2-Ex1.D ensures efficient installation and reduced wiring complexity.
