PTFE Seat Lugged Actreg Actuated Butterfly Valves

Actuation Valve & Control is a world-class manufacturer of actuated butterfly valves, with in house engineering and testing. We offer Direct Mounted Assemblies as well custom build bracket/shaft arrangements to ensure any application can be met. With the PTFE Seat, it features a non-toxic PTFE seal that also partially covers the outer body of the valve for perfect sealing with counter flanges. This makes them ideal for use in highly corrosive environments and higher service temperatures where traditional materials fail. Whether your application requires an actuator to be perform hundreds or cycles per day or a unit that may be operations several per month the Actreg actuator is there when you need it with the ability to instantly respond when tasked or spring fail closed upon air or signal failure.

Lugged Type Butterfly Valve 3D Stuff

Actreg Actuator Valve Testing & Calibration

All actuated valve assemblies are fully tested and calibrated in house prior to packing and shipping from our expert team of technical engineers. This means that when they arrive at site, you're immediately ready to install and get your production back up and running.

4-20mA Control Available On This Product

The BLX V100E Series is an Electro-Pneumatic control unit that allows the Actuator to incrementally adjust the Valve's position between the fully open and closed cycle. Product variants are available for spring return and double acting setups with feedback and safety settings. Ask our team today about how the V100E can help with your process requirements.

Frequent Interrogation

It is a lugged-pattern butterfly valve fitted with a PTFE seat for chemical resistance and operated by an Actreg pneumatic actuator. This configuration provides reliable quarter-turn automation for isolation and control in industrial process systems.

PTFE seats offer excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals, acids, and solvents while remaining non-reactive and contamination-free. This makes them ideal for applications where corrosion resistance and product purity are essential.

The lugged body allows each flange to be bolted independently, enabling end-of-line service and easier isolation of downstream pipework. This design offers greater installation flexibility than wafer-pattern butterfly valves.

Actreg pneumatic actuators deliver reliable torque output, compact design, and consistent performance. They are well suited for automated butterfly valve applications requiring durability and repeatable operation.

Yes. The PTFE seat provides excellent chemical inertness, making these valves suitable for corrosive fluids, solvents, and aggressive process media found in chemical and industrial environments.

Yes. When fitted with a suitable positioner, PTFE seat lugged Actreg actuated butterfly valves can be used for modulating flow control as well as standard open/close isolation.

PTFE seats typically operate up to approximately 180°C, depending on pressure and service conditions. Exact limits should always be confirmed against the application requirements.

Yes. Actreg actuators are available in spring-return configurations, allowing the valve to fail open or fail closed in the event of air supply or power loss.

These valves are widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, food and beverage production, and general industrial flow control applications.

Yes. These valves can be supplied with solenoid valves, limit switchboxes, positioners, air filter regulators, and other automation accessories to suit plant control requirements.

Non Toxic FDA Approved PTFE

Wafer Pattern concentric design features a non-toxic PTFE internal seal which also partially covers the outer body of the valve for perfect sealing with counter flanges. Thus avoiding any possibility of cross-contamination and providing a butterfly valve that is extremely resistant to chemicals and solvents with complete insolubility to 300°C.

Engineered Shaft Design

A single piece shaft design brings high strength and stability with direct mount capabilities for actuation assemblies and ensures fluid is again isolated from both the shaft and the body of the butterfly valve. This also eliminates the need for a customised mounting assembly kit which can bring additional costs and time.

Streamlined Butterfly Valve Discs

Greater CV Potential & Less Pipe Space

TTV’s streamlined discs produce a much greater Cv than other butterfly valves on the market resulting in low-pressure drops and reduced energy costs while maintaining a bi-directional zero leakage seal when in the closed position. Low operational torque and reduced friction reduces the costs of gear, pneumatic and electric actuation whilst extending the life of the valve seal. A silicone elasticised gasket facilitates the valve sealing.

For applications which require abrasion resistance the option of a UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene) is available for this particular butterfly valve.

Less space, results in less material, bringing significantly lower costs in the process. As part of Isolation applications, our valves can be fully open or fully closed with quarter turn movement (90 Degrees) of the functioning lever or actuator. When closed, the reliable seal and disc can provide 100% leak tight downstream shutoff and low-pressure loss across the valve when opened through a streamlined, energy saving metallic disc. These types of valves can also be used to regulate flow pressure or temperature through a multi-position lockable lever or 4-20mA 3-15 psi control.

Actuated Butterfly Valves are available in both pneumatic and electric operation and can be beneficial for use in remotely accessed areas, valves that require larger torque figures to operate, timing or synchronisation and reliability. Pneumatically Actuated Butterfly Valves provide the quickest form of operational control for open/close functionality and are available in both double acting and spring return units with either direct/solenoid operation. Spring Return units can be set up in a fail-safe closed mode for critical lines were the Valve will return to the closed position upon the event of power failure through the loaded springs. Fail-safe open Valves are also available upon request.
