PTFE Seat Lugged Actreg Actuated Butterfly Valves

Actreg's Actuator is built for long-lasting, reliable performance with a wide variety of materials and options that allow you to specify alternate coatings that are best suited for your application requirements. The pneumatic actuators combine quality parts designed over many years by in field experts. All available at a competitive price point. The bi-directional travel stops allow easy setting of the valve stroke which prevents premature valve failures. Our Pneumatic Actuators can be used with other common ancillary components such as solenoid valves, position switches, gauges and pressure regulators. Lugged style valves have threaded inserts at both sides of the body that allow them to be installed with only bolts and no nuts.

Actreg Actuator Valve Testing & Calibration

All actuated valve assemblies are fully tested and calibrated in house prior to packing and shipping from our expert team of technical engineers. This means that when they arrive at site, you're immediately ready to install and get your production back up and running.

4-20mA Control Available On This Product

The BLX V100E Series is an Electro-Pneumatic control unit that allows the Actuator to incrementally adjust the Valve's position between the fully open and closed cycle. Product variants are available for spring return and double acting setups with feedback and safety settings. Ask our team today about how the V100E can help with your process requirements.

Frequent Interrogation

It’s a high-performance butterfly valve with a PTFE seat for chemical resistance, a fully lugged stainless steel body for secure installation, and an Actreg pneumatic actuator for reliable automated control.

PTFE provides outstanding resistance to corrosive chemicals, low friction for smooth operation, and a clean, non-contaminating sealing surface ideal for aggressive or high-purity media.

The fully lugged configuration allows for easy installation between flanges, supports dead-end service, and provides stronger pipeline stability compared to wafer-style valves.

Stainless steel provides durability, corrosion resistance, and suitability for harsh or hygienic environments such as chemical processing, water treatment, food production, or pharmaceutical lines.

They are fitted with Actreg pneumatic actuators, known for their robust build, precise torque output, long service life, and dependable performance in both on/off and modulating applications.

Yes. The Actreg actuator can be configured for on/off duty or modulating control when paired with suitable accessories such as positioners or feedback modules.

Yes. The PTFE seat provides stability and chemical resistance at elevated temperatures, and the stainless steel body maximises thermal performance within the valve’s specified limits.

Absolutely. PTFE handles a wide range of corrosive fluids, while stainless steel construction enhances resistance to chemical attack, making the valve ideal for demanding industrial applications.

They are commonly used in chemical plants, water and wastewater systems, food and beverage facilities, pharmaceutical production, petrochemical lines, and general industrial flow control.

Maintenance is minimal. The PTFE seat is durable, the stainless steel body resists wear, and Actreg actuators require only periodic inspection to ensure optimal performance.

Non Toxic FDA Approved PTFE

This wafer-pattern concentric butterfly valve incorporates a non-toxic PTFE sealing surface that extends slightly over the outer body, creating a consistent, secure seal against adjoining flanges. The design prevents any chance of product carryover and provides outstanding protection against harsh chemicals, solvents, and corrosive media, all while maintaining complete insolubility up to 300°C. Although primarily designed as a butterfly valve, its sealing integrity rivals that of premium ball valves used in high-demand industrial systems.

Engineered Shaft Design

The robust one-piece shaft configuration provides superior strength and stability, enabling direct mounting of actuation equipment without additional brackets or adaptors. This design ensures full isolation of the process media from both the shaft and the valve body, increasing operational safety and long-term reliability of the butterfly valve. By eliminating the need for a bespoke mounting kit, installation becomes faster and more cost-effective—offering an efficiency level often associated with top-tier ball valve assemblies.

Streamlined Butterfly Valve Discs

Greater CV Potential & Less Pipe Space

TTV’s streamlined discs produce a much greater Cv than other butterfly valves on the market resulting in low-pressure drops and reduced energy costs while maintaining a bi-directional zero leakage seal when in the closed position. Low operational torque and reduced friction reduces the costs of gear, pneumatic and electric actuation whilst extending the life of the valve seal. A silicone elasticised gasket facilitates the valve sealing.

For applications which require abrasion resistance the option of a UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene) is available for this particular butterfly valve.

Less space, results in less material, bringing significantly lower costs in the process. As part of Isolation applications, our valves can be fully open or fully closed with quarter turn movement (90 Degrees) of the functioning lever or actuator. When closed, the reliable seal and disc can provide 100% leak tight downstream shutoff and low-pressure loss across the valve when opened through a streamlined, energy saving metallic disc. These types of valves can also be used to regulate flow pressure or temperature through a multi-position lockable lever or 4-20mA 3-15 psi control.

Actuated Butterfly Valves are available in both pneumatic and electric operation and can be beneficial for use in remotely accessed areas, valves that require larger torque figures to operate, timing or synchronisation and reliability. Pneumatically Actuated Butterfly Valves provide the quickest form of operational control for open/close functionality and are available in both double acting and spring return units with either direct/solenoid operation. Spring Return units can be set up in a fail-safe closed mode for critical lines were the Valve will return to the closed position upon the event of power failure through the loaded springs. Fail-safe open Valves are also available upon request.
