The TTV PTFE Stainless Steel Butterfly Valves offer both external and internal protection to extreme corrosive environments and pipeline shut off applications as well as Food, Beverage or Pharma that require regular wash down. Air Torque have created a pneumatic actuator which allows for reverse operation without returning it back to the manufacturer or using any additional hardware. This can be done in field by the end user with also the option to convert from spring return to double acting and vice versa. We offer both the fail safe close/open position as well as several features that can be specified at time of order including manual overrides.

Key Features

Lugged Butterfly Valves are used to control the flow of fluids in a piping system. They have threaded inserts on both sides. The lugged design of these valves is great because it allows you to easily disconnect either side of the piping system without having to remove the valve itself.

Option indicators available for the Air Torque actuator include direct mounting puk sensors such as P&F, IFM and other manufactures depending on end user approved vendor lists (AVL’s). Mechanical limit switch boxes are also available from stock for quick assembly.

A Concentric design features a non-toxic PTFE internal seal which also partially covers the outer body of the valve for perfect sealing with counter flanges. Thus avoiding any possibility of cross-contamination.

Non Toxic FDA Approved PTFE

The concentric wafer-style construction incorporates a non-toxic PTFE sealing liner that extends beyond the internal bore and onto sections of the valve body, ensuring a secure and consistent seal against mating flanges. This design prevents any risk of media contamination while delivering a butterfly valve with outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals and solvents, maintaining chemical stability and insolubility at temperatures up to 300°C.
