These valves are designed for corrosive, hygienic, and high-purity applications, including chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, and food production. The lugged body gives installation flexibility, while the PTFE lining protects against aggressive media.

PTFE offers excellent chemical resistance, a non-stick surface, and complete inertness. It prevents contamination, reduces wear, and maintains reliable sealing even in harsh or highly corrosive process conditions.

The lugged configuration allows bolts to be threaded directly into the valve body, enabling easy installation, secure pipeline isolation, and end-of-line service. It also makes removing the valve from one side of the system simple without disrupting the opposite flange.

Non Toxic FDA Approved PTFE

The wafer-style concentric layout uses a food-grade PTFE seal that lines the internal flow path and extends out toward the valve body, creating a tight, reliable seal against adjoining flanges. This design prevents any risk of media mixing and delivers exceptional protection against aggressive chemicals and solvents, maintaining full stability and insolubility at temperatures up to 300°C.

Engineered Shaft Design

The single-shaft construction delivers robust strength and solid alignment while allowing actuators to mount directly onto the valve. It keeps the process media completely separated from both the shaft and the valve body, removing the need for any special mounting kits and helping cut down on installation time and extra costs.

Streamlined Butterfly Valve Discs

Greater CV Potential & Less Pipe Space

TTV’s streamlined discs produce a much greater Cv than other butterfly valves on the market resulting in low-pressure drops and reduced energy costs while maintaining a bi-directional zero leakage seal when in the closed position. Low operational torque and reduced friction reduces the costs of gear, pneumatic and electric actuation whilst extending the life of the valve seal. A silicone elasticised gasket facilitates the valve sealing. 

For applications which require abrasion resistance the option of a UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene) is available for this particular butterfly valve.

Less space, results in less material, bringing significantly lower costs in the process. As part of Isolation applications, our valves can be fully open or fully closed with quarter turn movement (90 Degrees) of the functioning lever or actuator. When closed, the reliable seal and disc can provide 100% leak tight downstream shutoff and low-pressure loss across the valve when opened through a streamlined, energy saving metallic disc. These types of valves can also be used to regulate flow pressure or temperature through a multi-position lockable lever or 4-20mA 3-15 psi control.

Actuated Butterfly Valves are available in both pneumatic and electric operation and can be beneficial for use in remotely accessed areas, valves that require larger torque figures to operate, timing or synchronisation and reliability. Pneumatically Actuated Butterfly Valves provide the quickest form of operational control for open/close functionality and are available in both double acting and spring return units with either direct/solenoid operation. Spring Return units can be set up in a fail-safe closed mode for critical lines were the Valve will return to the closed position upon the event of power failure through the loaded springs. Fail-safe open Valves are also available upon request.
