Non Toxic FDA Approved PTFE

Wafer Pattern concentric design features a non-toxic PTFE internal seal which also partially covers the outer body of the valve for perfect sealing with counter flanges. Thus avoiding any possibility of cross-contamination and providing a butterfly valve that is extremely resistant to chemicals and solvents with complete insolubility to 300°C.

Engineered Shaft Design

A single piece shaft design brings high strength and stability with direct mount capabilities for actuation assemblies and ensures fluid is again isolated from both the shaft and the body of the butterfly valve. This also eliminates the need for a customised mounting assembly kit which can bring additional costs and time.

PTFE lining offers superior chemical resistance compared to standard elastomer seats like EPDM or NBR. This makes it ideal for handling aggressive media such as acids, solvents, and corrosive chemicals where standard materials would degrade over time.

Stainless steel construction provides excellent resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, and pressure variations. When combined with PTFE lining, it creates a valve package suitable for highly demanding industrial applications, including chemical processing and water treatment.

PTFE offers excellent chemical resistance but has defined temperature limits, typically up to around 180–200°C depending on design. It’s important to match the valve specification to the application temperature to avoid deformation or performance loss.
